September 3, 2008 The print version of Intoxicating Desires came out on August 26th and I'm still carrying my personal copy around so I can stroke it. I still have a big grin on my face when I think about a book with my name on it being available for one and all. I wrote this just before Intoxicating Desires came out in print and thought I'd share with you: I've been jumping up and down with excitement for the last month because Nicole Austin and I have our very first print book coming out on August 26th, Intoxicating Desires. Nic is an old hat at all this because she has quite a few e-books and print books behind her belt, but for me this whole book thing is totally new. Seeing my name on a book and actually seeing it on a shelf in a bookstore is mind boggling to me. Books and bookstores have been on my top five list of favorite things for as long as I can remember. Reading has always been my number one pastime. Even though I come from a family of four, I'm much younger than my siblings and by the time I was old enough to be of interest to them (and they to me *VBG*), they had gone off to live their lives. Basically, I was an only child living in the middle of nowhere. No neighbors, no malls, no stores. Just sage brush, chaparral and rattlesnakes. Books and music were my best and only friends. Somehow I was never able to feel close to the rattlesnakes… When I got to be an adult with my own transportation, I haunted the bookstores, especially the second hand bookstores because I could afford them. They'd give you credit for books you gave them and you could use your credit to buy more books, but I could never give back the book once I read it. It is a friend. How can you give back a friend? And now…now I'm hoping to see a book with my name on the cover. There was never a time in all my years when I thought to have a book with my name on it. I'd never considered writing a story let alone publishing it. I have Nic, my sister of the soul, to thank for all this. Life is an adventure and this is one of the best adventures I've been on!

February 17, 2007 Whoo-hoo! A red letter day for TK and Nicole. Samhain has accepted the manuscript for Margarita Day, the stand-alone sequel inspired by Mimosa Night. We are both hoping for a 2007 publishing date!
January 28, 2007 "Mimosa Night brings together the excitement and thrill of swapping stories and experiences with your best mates along with the idea that even your wildest dreams and fantasies might one day become reality. The whole pace of the book is light hearted and fun, perfectly fitting with the idea of best friends swapping stories and having a good time together. However Mimosa Night isn’t just a tale of friends getting together; it’s also more of a story of taking full advantage when opportunities arise. The characters are all very loveable and readers will enjoy the tales they have to tell and the reactions they have to one another. Each tale has been beautifully crafted almost as separate stories in themselves which is what makes the book so interesting. I enjoyed visiting each fantasy, seeing where it would take the main characters and seeing the different emotions they felt afterwards when they came true." — Heidi, Fallen Angel Reviews
November 2006 "Mimosa Night is…WOW! That is how I felt all the way though. Reba and her friends now have very different lives, but their friendship is strong, loving and knows no boundaries. Each of the women have had a deep fantasy come true and the outcome changes their lives forever upon finding the love they always wanted, or in Reba’s case it strengthens the love she has already found. There is so much I want to tell you about these women’s stories, but I just can’t without saying too much. What I will tell you is that I found the expression and emotions in Mimosa Night so well and classily written that I just could not put it down. I was extremely sorry to have to close Mimosa Night at the end. Mimosa Night is a story I loved while reading it and I know that I will be re-reading it many times and it will stay on my keeper shelf. Mimosa Night is a story that I just had to put as one of my highly recommended books – and I have."
